Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY Completed: 2011 319 Fourth Street is a new luxury two-family brownstone in Park Slope, Brooklyn, which Aspen Equities successfully completed in 2011. The project is the only fully new brownstone built in Park Slope in decades. The project included a serious commitment to environmentally sustainable building techniques and materials, including a solar thermal water heater, EnergyStar appliances and HVAC, and low VOC paints and adhesives throughout. Construction was completed in 8 months, and the project was profiled in the Wall Street Journal. The project was developed in a joint venture with the property owner, and sold in the upper reaches of prices for homes in Park Slope. Seth Brown acquired the site, sourced debt for the project, and managed the project from design through construction and sales.
Sterling Green
580 Sterling Place, Brooklyn, NY Completed: 2009 Sterling Green is a new 8-unit condominium project in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, which Aspen Equities successfully completed in 2009. The project required ground-up construction, and included a serious commitment to environmentally sustainable building techniques and materials. Construction was completed in 13 months. All eight units were sold within seven months of the marketing launch in the midst of a very difficult economic environment, and the project yielded a 30% annualized return for investors. Seth Brown acquired the site, sourced equity and debt for the project, and managed the project from design through construction and sales.
